As the son of a builder, Gary knew from an early age that construction was in his future. During his early teens, a trip to the Hearst Castle in Northern California set his course for the next 40 years. “I was mesmerized by the castle and did not want to ever leave. My imagination took flight and I knew what I was born to do.” This early inspiration and subsequent practical experience in the construction trades led him to start his own luxury building company in 1981. He has lead his design and construction teams over the past 35 years to build more than 300 award winning luxury estates. That passion continues and is please to be joined over the last decade by his eldest son, Dallen.

As the son of a third generation builder, Dallen grew up on his father's job sites and was in awe of the sheer size, and skilled craftsmanship that went into these homes, and knew then as a young boy that creating masterpieces like these would be his passion as well. Dallen possesses a passion for outstanding customer service. His love for understanding and promoting the high-end client experience was clearly demonstrated while working with two of the world service leaders, Nordstrom Department Stores and Ritz Carlton Resorts. His service experience combined with his education background in operational system technologies and advanced database implementation has allowed Gietz Luxury Estates to enjoy all the benefits of the latest in 21st Century contracting systems and processes.
